Wyoming Real Estate

The City of Wyoming is hardly your typical city. Today its downtown is a three-and-a-half mile stretch of five-lane road 28th Street. This is one of Michigan’s busiest roadways.

There are many commercial establishments abundant all over Wyoming today, but the greatest concentration is along 28th Street. The city has a total population of 72,125. That makes it the 3rd largest community or city in West Michigan, the 14th largest city in the state of Michigan. The city has 21 parks that cover about 665 acres that offers multiple activities. In 2002 the new Wyoming Public Library was built and is owned by the city but run by the Kent District Library System.

Wyoming is Michigan’s 16th largest community with west Michigan’s third largest industrial tax base.  The City has grown to 70,000 strong with a diverse cultural base, seven school districts, a balance of older and modern homes, retail variety and an abundance of parkland.  All this takes place in a region that is proud, independent, and growing while still competitive.
