  Comstock Park is the home of the West Michigan Whitecaps, a farm team for the Detroit Tigers.In the early days of its existence it was a central railway location, since then it has evolved into a true crossroads in northern suburban Grand Rapids. "The Park" is easily accessible from surrounding suburbs as well as downtown Grand Rapids. The city is home to Comstock Park Public Schools.
