Cedar Springs is a little town that is rich in history. Cedar Springs residents are friendly, unpretentious and proud of their heritage.

The Fred Meijer White Pine Trail that splits the city is a popular attraction for runners, bicyclists and rollerbladers. The paved pathway from just south of Cedar Springs all the way to Cadillac, is open to snowmobilers as well.  The City is putting the finishing touches on a new staging area as well.  The staging area was constructed using a MDNRTF grant and will greatly enhance downtown Cedar Springs. 

The city is home to two high schools and several primary/middle schools. The Cedar Springs Public School District encompasses 110 square miles. Cedar Springs Public Schools has a current enrollment of 2,768 students located on a single 100 acre campus near downtown Cedar Springs.
